What are tags?
Tags can be found in the “professional information” of your employee’s profile. The “tag” field serves as a tool for HR to better segment each employee inside the company, along with their cost center.
Example:
John’s cost center is - Restaurant Manhattan (store) and his tags are “sales team” & “manhattan office”
What are groups?
Groups can be created by managers to organize their own employees and ensure there are no conflicts when requesting absences. This way, everyone in a group can check their team members off days.
Example:
- Group: Design (John, Rachel, Tyler)
- Group: Marketing (Mariana, Sandra)
- Group: Sales (Richard, William)
What if I choose not to create groups?
Everyone under the same manager will be able to see each others absence requests whether these are pending or approved, even if they are not part of the same “internal team”.
